The short version
We collect your name, email, business name, business URL, and what you tell us through forms or the chat on this site. If you use the chat, you're talking to an AI agent — that's the product, not a stand-in for it. We use what you share to reply to you and to send relevant follow-up. We don't sell your data and we don't share it with third parties for their marketing. We keep your information until you ask us to delete it — email Sales@gapindustriesllc.com and we'll remove it.
What we collect
- Information you submit through forms on this site (name, email, business name, business URL, message)
- What you type into the AI chat on this site, plus an approximate country derived from your IP and an internal fit score (0–3) the AI assigns to gauge whether GAP is a good match
- If you book a call: your name, email, an optional phone number, your selected time, and a short summary of the problem you described
- If you purchase a Concierge subscription: your billing email, the last four digits of your card (as returned by Stripe for display purposes), and your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Raw payment card data (card number, CVV, expiry) is collected exclusively by Stripe and is never stored on GAP Industries systems.
- A pseudonymous session identifier for your chat session (not your raw IP address)
- Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referring page) for security and analytics
- Cookie-free privacy-respecting analytics via Plausible
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry — by email, and through the AI chat if you use it
- To let the AI remember your conversation within a session, and to recall context if you return (the AI memory feature is provided by Google's AI platform)
- To assign an internal fit score so we can prioritize follow-up — this is used only to decide how quickly a human reaches out, never for automated decisions about credit, insurance, housing, employment, or healthcare
- To send relevant follow-up emails about GAP Industries services (you can opt out at any time)
- To improve the site and identify common questions
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data, ever, to anyone
- We don't use your fit score — or anything the AI infers about you — for automated decisions about credit, insurance, housing, employment, or healthcare
- We don't run third-party tracking pixels (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads remarketing)
- We don't share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes
Tools we use that handle your data
- Payment processing: Stripe, Inc. — processes subscription payments for GAP Industries Concierge plans. Stripe collects your payment card information, billing email, and billing address directly on their secure hosted checkout page. GAP Industries does not store or have access to your raw card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of payment data: stripe.com/privacy.
- Email: Resend — sends our transactional and follow-up emails
- Hosting & storage: Cloudflare — hosts this site and stores form and chat data on infrastructure we operate, kept until you request deletion
- AI chat & memory: Google Vertex AI Agent Engine — powers the chat agent and its memory. What you type is processed to generate responses and to remember your conversation. Google's platform retains conversation context for a limited period to provide continuity; your content is not used to train Google's models, per their commercial API terms
- AI persona tools: Anthropic (Claude) — powers some AI-assisted tools on this site in real time, with no retention and no model training, per their commercial API terms
- Analytics: Plausible Analytics — privacy-respecting, no cookies, no personal data
Your rights
You can at any time:
- Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Request deletion of all data we hold about you
- Unsubscribe from any email we send (every email has an unsubscribe link)
- Update or correct information we hold
- Request deletion of your chat data and the pseudonymous session identifier tied to it
- Opt out of having the AI's inferences (such as your fit score) used for follow-up prioritization

California residents may submit CCPA requests (including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — note we do not sell or share for cross-context advertising) to the same address.
