Sample listings are labeled “Sample Listing” on both the search results page and the listing detail page. When you inquire on a sample listing, a member of the GAP Marketplace team follows up to connect you with real available inventory in your area. You will not be connected to a dealer through a sample listing — you will be connected to GAP Marketplace directly.
As real dealer inventory comes online, it replaces sample listings. Real listings will be clearly identified as current dealer inventory.

GAP Marketplace is a listing platform. GAP Marketplace connects buyers and sellers by hosting listings. GAP Marketplace is not a dealer, broker, agent, or escrow provider. GAP Marketplace is not a party to any transaction between a buyer and a seller.
GAP Marketplace does NOT:
- Inspect, survey, or physically verify any listed boat
- Verify the ownership, title status, or lien status of any listed vessel
- Verify the identity, credentials, or licensing status of any seller (except as expressly stated in a listing after completion of GAP Marketplace’s dealer onboarding process)
- Hold, transfer, or protect any purchase funds
- Guarantee, warrant, or stand behind any transaction, boat condition, seller representation, or listing accuracy
- Operate a buyer protection program of any kind
Buyers assume all risk associated with evaluating listings, communicating with sellers, and completing any purchase transaction. GAP Marketplace’s role is limited to providing a platform on which listings are displayed.
